Hi there! My name is Ariella Menaker, I'm a mixed-media artist, queer, born and raised in the Israeli Negev and currently live in Berlin, Germany.
Born in Sderot, we moved to Be'er-Sheva when I was 10, and I've lived here on and off ever since. I studied for my MA in arts and curatorial studies at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. Prior to this, I studied Arts and Interactive Design at the Avni Institute of Art and Design in Jaffa, where I lived for a few years.
I see myself as someone who has a strong will to make a difference in the world and change it for the better. I believe there are many ways to achieve this, art is my platform of choice.
I consider myself both student and teacher. I’ve been experimenting and developing my skills and processes. as I constantly seek to acquire additional perspectives and expose myself to different narrations in life and in art.
